Self-Driving Coalition Statement on DC's AV Legislation

Washington -- The Self-Driving Coalition released the following statement from counsel Ariel Wolf following the Council of the District of Columbia's approval of the Autonomous Vehicles Testing Program Amendment Act:

"Autonomous vehicles offer opportunities to significantly improve safety on DC streets and mobility for Washington residents. We appreciate the Council of the District of Columbia for recognizing this potential and passing the Autonomous Vehicles Testing Program Amendment Act, and we look forward to continued collaboration with DC government on future policies for a path to deployment."
