Bot Auto Joins the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association

The Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association (AVIA) announced today that Bot Auto, a company committed to next generation logistics through autonomous trucking, has joined the association.

“We are excited to welcome Bot Auto, which is dedicated to improving the transportation industry and America’s supply chain through autonomy,” said Jeff Farrah, AVIA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Bot Auto will bring another voice to our unified group of industry leaders working towards safer roads and more resilient supply chains.”

Federal government data estimates U.S. freight volume will increase 50% by 2050 – this means there is growing demand and more opportunities to move freight. At the same time, there is currently a shortage of 78,000 truck drivers - expected to double by 2031. The U.S. must find a way to move more freight with fewer truck drivers to do it. By working together with truck drivers, autonomous trucks can help to grow the U.S. economy, create jobs, and increase American competitiveness.
