AVIA Statement on Pennsylvania AV Bill

Washington, DC - The Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association issued the following statement on today’s official signing of Pennsylvania’s autonomous vehicle bill, HB 2398.

“The Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association commends Governor Wolf, Representative Oberlander, and Senator Langerholc for their leadership on HB 2398,” said Executive Director Jeff Farrah. “Autonomous vehicles will increase safety and supply chain efficiencies for Pennsylvanians while boosting economic development and supporting jobs in the Commonwealth. AVIA looks forward to continuing to work with Pennsylvania policymakers to advance the deployment of AVs.”
